The BAD-NEWS-FOR-MILLBRIDGE proposal being spread about

For those who were interested, here is the newest version of a proposal that has been presented to the board, which would have a devastating affect on ALL of Millbridge. We MUST protect our community and move forward with our message of unity and counter these sorts of proposals with Cold, Hard facts! Write the BOE members and our local politicians! Go to the scheduled meetings (Millbridge will be wearing black) and let us be heard!

Lets Show Our Support!!!

 
Showing up at these meetings could be very beneficial to our fight. Even though we may not be able to speak at each meeting our presence will speak for us. If nobody shows up then that sends the message that we don't care and are fine with them busing our children 10 miles away when Cuthbertson is only 3 miles away! Our presence and numbers matter! Lets show them we care!!

Stop the Redistricting Petition

For anyone who missed signing the petition to stop the redistricting but would like to here is the link:

Anyone who lives in Union County can sign the petition and have it be effective. So far the petition has received over 9,000 signatures!

Stop The Redistricting Rally

I went to the rally to stop the redistricting on Saturday January 18th in Wesley Chapel. Aside from it being FREEZING it was a very good experience and I was impressed with the level of organization and the very positive atmosphere.

Committees:

Health & Safety(emotional toll, health, safety and transportation issues), Media, Real Estate, Stats, Education and Legal.

Each committee is organizing their own meetings and will select someone to speak for the Feb 4th meeting. I signed up for the Health & Safety committee and have already received email notification for the first meeting. Maura who is running the group has invited us to join any of the committees that we find of interest. If we could have someone on each of those committees we could be that much more informed as to what is happening.
